Career Advice (c-Advice) (TM):  How do I make 'IT' HAPPEN?

c-Stories (TM)

Mis - Pronounced

I really wanted a job with a great company. I thought the interview went very well, now I am not so sure. I found out after the interview that I was mis-pronouncing the company name during the entire interview. Should I make a follow-up call to the manager and admit/correct my error? This is quite embarrassing; I do not want to tell my friends. Need advice on this oone.

Lipstick

I recently I interviewed for a sales job and I really want to break into the industry. I just had my second interview. When I left and went into the ladies room, I realized I had evidently missed my lips and had lipstick on my teeth. Should I call the sales manager and acknowledge this embarrassing situation?

How to re-enter the work force?

Does anyone have advice for the best way to re-enter the workforce after being home with children? I have been home with kids for 13 years. I have a bachelor's degree and would like to work again part-time. How do you start a career again after being out of work so long in these tough times?

Recent Grad

I just graduated with a business degree. My friends laugh at me but I have high aspirations. Every book on goals you read, it suggets to set high goals. I would like to be a VP, President and than ultimately a CEO for a Fortune 100 company. Any suggestions or recommendations, dos', don'ts? Should I go for an MBA? If so, full-time or is it best to work and than go part-time?
