Love or Lust skews perceptions
Check this out. We work in the marketing department and our director is obviously having an affair with our coworker. Our coworker, to be fair is an average employee. Not great, not necessarily a slacker either. However, every suggestion he has made, our boss would go on and on about what a great idea it was and he needed to lead the team on this concept. To test it, I fed him an idea I had a few months ago that she shot down. He presented and all of a sudden she loved the idea.
She just promoted him which comes with a big salary increase! Unbelieveable, we all just roll our eyes when he makes a statemnet and she praises and praises him.
