i was working for an HVAC company 15 years ago and was asked one day to go to the pet store and tend to some repair work in the ceiling, while up on my ladder with a tile popped looking at what needed to be done i noticed a lump in a otherwise flat landscape of insulation batts above the ceiling tiles. curiosity took over and i lifted the insulation to see what was under there ( maybe the last guys drill?) much to my suprise there was a 6' long boa constrictor all coiled up and taking a nap ! i sought out a store employee and let her know what was happening, she didn't act suprised and climbed my ladder to retrive the snake, she was very gentle but the snake bit her several times as she was coming down the ladder and she had blood dripping off of her elbow, as she turned to return the missing snake to his cage she said...by the way, we are missing 6 other snakes, could you keep an eye peeled for them!! i didn't find any others, darn it. but if i had chosen to pop the next tile over that bugger would have landed on my head !! lesson learned.
